DESCRIPTION

Gelsomino is an Eau de Parfum inspired by one of the most representative plants of the Medici’s collection, “Jasmine of the Grand Duke". Brought from the coast of Goa in 1688, Cosimo III de’Medici fell in love with this special variety and ordered the construction of a greenhouse in the Villa Medicea di Castello, called "Stufa dei Mugherini", from the ancient Florentine name of the jasmine.

The daring olfactory construction of Gelsomino Eau de Parfum brings the special tale of Cosimo III de’ Medici and his Stufa dei Mugherini into our everyday lives: bergamot, tangerine and pink pepper welcome us in the top notes. At the heart, the mystery unfolds with sambac jasmine absolute, geranium and ylang-ylang. Finally, the greenhouse opens entirely with cedar wood and musk.
