Victoria Tentler-Krylov is a New York-based illustrator, and the winner of the 2022 BHS Creative Challenge. Her work varies from books to editorial, with published works including the June 2022 cover of The New Yorker and uses different aesthetics and techniques. Her winning illustration for the 2022 BHS Creative Challenge is inspired by fabulous fashion in a tropical environment, Tentler-Krylov’s illustration is intended to convey a sense of lightheartedness, festivity and an inclusive and diverse celebration of creativity, style and color; imagining that through the image, one can feel the breeze and hear the sounds of music, splashing water, rustling palm tree leaves, laughter and excited conversation.
