Ruben Toledo Woman in Hat Design: Artist Ruben Toledo has been celebrated for his illustrations since the 1970s, and has collaborated with numerous luxury fashion brands, including Louis Vuitton and Tiffany & Co. Bal Harbour Shops has had a longstanding relationship with Toledo, who served as a mentor for the inaugural BHS Creative Challenge in celebration of fashion illustration. For the launch of our BHS Illustrator Collection, Toledo captured the spirit of the Shops in his signature whimsical style.
Amalia Restrepo Design: Amalia Restrepo is a Colombian illustrator based in Miami, and the winner of the 2021 BHS Creative Challenge. Her work varies from books to editorial to licensing and fashion and always tries to evoke dreams through textures and unnatural proportions. It was a natural choice to invite Restrepo to take part in our inaugural BHS Illustrator Collection, and give you the chance to take home her winning illustration.
